WOW! Has it really been 3 months since my last post??

Not even sure where to begin. Summer is over and now it is fall.....

Morgan started at her new school in August. I love her new school. Her teachers are wonderful and she really likes it there. Now if only they put in sidewalks so she could walk to school, that would be awesome.

Morgan is swimming again for the Hurricanes this year. She had her first meet last weekend and she got her all time personal best in Freestyle...53 seconds!! That is huge for Morgan. We are very excited and proud of her.

She continues to play violin and had her first orchestra concert of the school year this week. It is a much smaller orchestra than her other school. Video and pics below...

Bella.....where do start? Ok, you know how you compare apples and oranges when referring to opposites? Well, Bella and Morgan are apples and shoes! Morgan was always my rule follower and good listener. Need I say more? Regardless, we love Bella and wouldn't want her any other way.

She started in the toddler room at preschool and loves it. She is learning so much. She continues to amaze us with the things she says everyday. She is such a smart little girl. She counts to 13, knows her colors, knows lots of letters, pretend reads, and loves playing with legos and her kitchen. She loves to sing, too! She is our busy busy girl.

More Summer Fun!

Let's see....a fun but calm summer. We spent alot of time in MD, swimming, pooling it, and swim meets, and fruit picking. We are now in NJ spending time with family. So far we have gone to the boardwalk and to the beach. We are hoping for a few more days of nice weather so we can hit the beach a few more times.

As always, Morgan loves the beach. She would spend all her time in the ocean if she didn't prune up. She loves boogie boarding and playing in the sand.

Bella loved the beach, too. She even loved the water this time. She likes to stand at the water's edge and play in the water as the waves come in. She also loves playing in the sand, especially when Morgan digs a deep hole and fills it with water.

We are now waiting for Aunt Melissa to come in with the kids to visit. It will be a full house, for sure, here at Debbie's very shortly.

I will update more while I am here in NJ....but here are some pics.

MORGAN won her first heat!!!

Morgan had her last swim meet yesterday and she took first place in her heat and got a personal best! Here is the video. Morgan is wearing the bright aqua cap in the middle lane. We are soooo proud of her!!!!

Ok....way, way too long since I last updated this blog. Been so busy with summer, etsy, ebay, swimming......but making a point to post more often here :)

Let's see...school is out. I officially have a 7th grader! Morgan finished the school year up on Honor Roll....Mostly As and a few Bs. She is such a great student! With the new boundaries for next school year, she will be starting at a new school for 7th grade...right down the street from the house. Morgan started swimming up for the summer. Had her first swim meet. She shaved a few seconds off all of her times from time trials in June. Way to go Morgan!

Bella, Bella, Bella....where do I begin, my little trouble maker. Bella will be 2 in a few weeks. Cannot believe it has already been two years! What a crazy two years. Bella continues to be a handful...but we love ever bit it! We are hoping that she will be done with the terrible twos soon, though.

Bella continues to amaze us with her language. She talks in complete sentences...most often grammatically correct. The other day, she said to me "I love Bella." I said "I love Bella." She replied "I love Mommy." Tell me my heart didnt sink! She has also started singing....too cute! Greg has a video on his phone that I will post soon. Absolutely adorable. Bella loves the pool....she loves to float on her tube and pour water from cups.

So far this summer, we have hung out at the pool, gone strawberry picking, blueberry picking, and watched the 4th of July fireworks. We are planning lots of other fun, local things to do this summer...and even squeezing in a trip to NJ...

Been too long!

Can't believe that summer time is nearing. The girls will be done school/daycare in a few weeks and then the fun will begin.

Family news: we have a new niece. Melissa and Chris had their baby...Adeline Claire. We traveled to Roanoke, Va over Memorial Day weekend to meet our little Addie. We spent some time with Melissa, her kids, and Deanna and her girls. We had a really nice time loving on all of those kiddos....especially baby Addie. What a cutie pie!

Morgan has done well during this last quarter of 6th grade. She will be in 7th grade next year. She is growing so fast! She will be moving to a new school since the county changed the boundaries for the school around the corner. It is a much smaller school but we will surely miss her current school. Morgan had her Spring Orchestra concert 2 weeks ago and played so nicely. There is a video here is her and her classmates playing Man in the Mirror. She is getting better and better on that violin! She plans to continue next year along with taking Spanish class.

Summer swim season just started this week. Morgan has been out of the pool since January but seems to have jumped right back in :)

Bella is growing so fast. I cannot believe that she will be 2 next month. It is crazy. She is crazy....hehe. Let's see. She talks up a storm.....in sentences. If she wants or needs something, she will let you know. She is still quite independent...."Bella do it" she always says. She went to the pool for the first time in a while yesterday and was beside herself. She wanted to play in the big pool and laughed hysterically...it will definitely be a fun summer with Bella at the pool.

Rain, rain...go away...

...you are making Bella cry. We had pretty severe weather tonight. Lots of rain, golf ball sized hail, lightening, and thunder. It woke Bella up and now she is terrified to go to sleep. She keeps saying "rain all done" and "light all done." I am not used to this since Morgan has always been such a HEAVY sleeper. Bella is the opposite...but to be expected since she is the opposite of Morgan in every other way!

This weekend, Bella started saying "I want ____" on her own, without cues! It is such an awesome thing to see the development of a toddler. I love watching and seeing what she will do or say next.

Morgan is doing great! She got 3 As and the 4 Bs on her latest report card. GO MORGAN!! She participated in her school's talent show. She played her violin to America the Beautiful.

Morgan has decided, with some encouragement from mom, to start an Etsy business. I thought it would be a fun way for her to learn about money. Here is her shop, if you want to go check it out. She is so excited about it.

Spring is here!!!

Spring is here and the McNab girls love the Spring time. Morgan loves being outside to watch nature and Bella loves being a dare devil on her scooter and bike. We go for walks in the evenings and go the park before dinner when the weather is warm. One thing my girls have in common is the love for the outdoors. Bella would stay outside ALL OF THE TIME if she could!

So...catch up time. We made a last minute trip to Virginia to spend time with my sister-in-law and her family. It was our first trip to their new house in Virginia. We had a really nice but short weekend. we went over Easter weekend so we had to tell the Easter bunny we werent going to be home. Morgan had fun playing with Gigi while Bella loved her Erin and Natie bug...Erin calls Bella "Fellas." Too cute!

Unfortunately, a few days after we returned from Virginia, Grandmom Park passed away. It was sudden and very sad. We went to Pennsylvania for family time with Greg's family and Grandmom's funeral. It was nice to see family, but hopefully next time under better circumstances.



MORGAN
Morgan continues with violin and is doing great! She got her 3rd quarter report card and got 3 As and 4 Bs. We are so proud of her! She is growing up so fast!

BELLA
Bella continues to keep us busy. She is very independent and knows what she wants. She speaks in short sentences. It is amazing to watch her grow and change before our eyes.

Bella did it again!

Bella pee peed in the potty again. Last night she asked to sit on the potty. She sat and sat, got up, sat then pee peed!! Wooohoo!

Bella is sick, again :( This time, she has a fever and is miserable. Trying to get her t drink has been so difficult so she has been eating popcicles. She asks for them....too cute. Here is a picture.

While wandering around the kitchen today, Bella grabbed the big bag of pretzels off of the island and dumped it all over the floor. "uh-oh." Morgan helped me vacuum it up and so did Bella....here are pics.

Long time........

Been MIA for a few weeks. Not too much has happened over the past few weeks. Morgan is doing good. We had a mommy and daughter day today...just Morgan and I. We went out to lunch, shopping, and to the movies. It was such an awesome day. We are planning to do a mommy and daughter day more often.........maybe once a month.

Bella continues to keep us all very busy. Let's see...."mommy, come on!" and "no" are frequent words from our lil' miss Bella. She amazes us every day with her language. She is such a smart little girl. Sometimes, too smart. She is so good and listens at daycare but with me, the complete opposite. Boy is she a handful and I know my parents are loving this.

GOING STIR CRAZY

We have been stuck in the house for over a week now and are going crazy. well, I am . Morgan is quite content with her Wii, DS, videos, books, and toys. Bella is quite content with tearing the house apart. I am ready to go back to work!

Bella now say "come on" when she wants you. She speaks in short sentences, although most words blended together. She loves to sing the ABCs and count to 10!

Most Awesome News!!!! Bella has pee peed in the potty two times in the past few days. She has always wanted to play with her potty...putting it on her head and putting toys in it. Now, when I go potty, she goes potty. She likes to read books and look at the toys r us catalog from Christmas while sitting and trying.

BELLA PEE-PEE'D IN THE POTTY!

Bella pee pee'd in her potty tonight for the first time. We went into the bathroom to brush her teeth at night night time and she went to sit on her potty. She usually does this with her clothes on. Well, TMI alert, I had to go, too so I said to Bella, "let's go pee pee." I unzipped her pjs and took off her diaper and she sat and I sat. She stood up and I saw pee pee!!! She was like, what?? I was so excited and then she looked in potty and was so proud of her self. YEAH BELLA!

Ok....now for snow news. We have 30" on the ground and are expecting 16-26" more. Craziness. We are out of school through next week. Will post snow totals tomorrow night...

Blizzard of 2010

I can't believe that we actually got 30 inches of snow already and are expecting more! This is nuts. We are definitely snowed in. I am glad I took Bella to the dr. yesterday, as she was not feeling well. If I had waited, we would have been in big trouble. She has an ear infection and a sinus infection. Dr. put her on antibiotics.

So, back to the blizzard. Crazy amounts of snow and we are snowed in. Enjoying it so far. Not sure when they will get the streets plowed but thankfully we have plenty of food and a good cook, Greg. Here are some pictures from today and also some pictures of Bella and Morgan in last week's snow.

Bella amazes us each and every day with the things she can do. Just the other night, she sat at the dinner table and said "poop diaper new one." That is 4 words!!!!! She is growing so fast. She is now 18 months old. She is still tiny for her age, although doing well on the growth curve. She is in the and always has been in the 15th percentile for weight but in the 75th percentile for her height. Her favorite things right now are:

January 15, 1998...My sweet sweet Morgan was born. She just turned 12 ! 12 years have gone by since Marvin Gaye played in the delivery room. 12 years have passed by since we first saw your sweet angel face. We cannot believe that you are already 12. 1 more year and you will be a teenager...CRAZY!

Last night, Morgan celebrated her 12th birthday with some of her friends. She planned a chocolate themed sleepover. The girls had so much fun...although I have made a mental note to self....do not have a chocolate theme birthday party at night. The girls were so WIRED! They had a blast with chocolate candy making, chocolate fondue with fruit, and a viewing of Willy Wonka.

Oh.....and before her party, I was helping morgan straighten her room. I found a pouch under her pillow with teeth in it. I asked her what it was. She told me that she decided to put them under her pillow like a week or so after loosing them (she did not tell us they were under her pillow). She said ,"hmmmmm.....I guess the tooth fairy didnt know they were under there....I guess YOU are the toothfairy." :(

Bella says "fotion" for lotion is a sweet little voice.
Bella now calls her Lovie "Wuzie." Too cute.

The other day, I said to her, want a bath? she said "bath." I told her to tell mommy to come on. She replied "come on mommy."

The other day, I put a courderoy dress on Bella. It was too big so i took it off and put on a jean one. She tugged at the jean one saying "off...off." I said, "you dont want this one?" She replied "dont want this one."
