Pictures from today.....

Bella is sick, again :( This time, she has a fever and is miserable. Trying to get her t drink has been so difficult so she has been eating popcicles. She asks for them....too cute. Here is a picture.

While wandering around the kitchen today, Bella grabbed the big bag of pretzels off of the island and dumped it all over the floor. "uh-oh." Morgan helped me vacuum it up and so did Bella....here are pics.

Oh, and a sample of art work that Bella and I did today.

GOING STIR CRAZY

We have been stuck in the house for over a week now and are going crazy. well, I am . Morgan is quite content with her Wii, DS, videos, books, and toys. Bella is quite content with tearing the house apart. I am ready to go back to work!

Bella now say "come on" when she wants you. She speaks in short sentences, although most words blended together. She loves to sing the ABCs and count to 10!

Most Awesome News!!!! Bella has pee peed in the potty two times in the past few days. She has always wanted to play with her potty...putting it on her head and putting toys in it. Now, when I go potty, she goes potty. She likes to read books and look at the toys r us catalog from Christmas while sitting and trying.

We have a Middle Schooler and Two more teeth!

Lots going on here at the McNab household.

MORGAN GRADUATED FROM FIFTH GRADE!!!! I cannot believe that my Morgan is growing up. She starts middle school in the fall. Not only did she graduate, but she received the President's Education Award. This is an award the is award to students who among other things, maintain a 3.5 grade average. 25 out of 70 fifth graders received this award and Morgan was one of them!! She received a letter from Barack Obama! She also received the School Safety Patrol Award of Merit for outstanding Patrol duty. Only 6 students out of the 30+ patrols received this. We are so proud of Morgan. Here are some pictures of our graduate!!

Morgan's walk at the clap out...this is where everyone in the school and parents clap out the fifth graders as they exit the elementary school one last time :(

Let's start with Bella. Bella is working on two more teeth. She is teething hard and has not been happy about it :( Aside from the teething, she is so much fun! Her new things are pretending to talk on the phone. She says "HEWO" and when either she drops something or sees/hears someone drop something, she says "UH OH." She is so much fun! She is crawling, standing holding on, walking holding on and walking holding one hand. Full blown walking is just around the corner; I can feel it!

Bella is getting some hair, although most is in the back...kind alike a mullet :)hehe.....She eats mostly anything we eat. She prefers to eat finger foods, not baby food. She loves Spanakopata (spinach pie), hot dogs, carrots, and pretty much anything else! Can't believe she is almost 11 months old!

An end to our CRAZY Week!

Can't believe we finally made it to Friday...well, Saturday :) This was the busiest week since have children. Morgan had Talent Show practice and the Talent Show, Girl Scout Bridging, possible swim team practice (rained out), Karate, Girl Scout Bridging, and Chorus and Orchestra Concert. How we managed, I will never know, but we did. Bella hung in there with us. She was a trooper.

Morgan did wonderful at her Chorus and Orchestra concert. It was bitter sweet, as it was her last elementary school concert :( She did so well. She played the violin and sang. Here are a few videos:

For her last elementary school Talent Show, Morgan chose to do a karate demonstration. She did awesome. Here are some pics:

She also bridged from Jr. Girl Scouts to Cadettes. Unfortunately, her troop folded and there is not space available in other troops in the area for Cadettes. So, we have decided, along with the other girls who bridged with Morgan, to do Juliettes. This a where the mom oversees her own individual daughter's girl scout activities and is not part of troop. We will get together with the other Juliettes (Morgan's friends) and do things that are girl scout activities, though. Here are pics of her bridging ceremony:

This really is a bitter sweet time for us, as Morgan grows up and moves on to Middle School........

Morgan's Birthday- 11 Years Old!

Morgan turned 11 on January 15! I cannot believe how big she is getting. She has grown up so much within the past year...I am so proud of her. It is tradition on her birthday to go to Sakura Japanese Steakhouse....her favorite restaurant. She loves it because they cook in front of you. It was our first trip there as a family of four. Isabella slept for part of it then woke up for some of the entertainment. She just watched the chef cook. It was really cute. A tradition at Sakura is to have your picture taken with their Polaroid camera for a souvenir on your birthday.
Here is Morgan's 11 year old Sakura pic:

Morgan went on her fifth grade class trip to Williamsburg

Morgan went to Williamsburg....with her fifth grade class. It is like a rite of passage at her school for a fifth grader to go on this field trip...a rite of passage to middle school. it is an overnight trip. Parent can go if they want and heck yeh I went! Unfortunately, Morgan's roommate, Devyn, got sick at the last minute and canceled so me and Morgan were solo in our hotel room. But we had fun! We went to Yorktown, Jamestown, and Williamsburg! So much fun. We were nonstop the entire 2 days. Came home exhausted. Will post pics soon!
