MORGAN won her first heat!!!

Morgan had her last swim meet yesterday and she took first place in her heat and got a personal best! Here is the video. Morgan is wearing the bright aqua cap in the middle lane. We are soooo proud of her!!!!

Ok....way, way too long since I last updated this blog. Been so busy with summer, etsy, ebay, swimming......but making a point to post more often here :)

Let's see...school is out. I officially have a 7th grader! Morgan finished the school year up on Honor Roll....Mostly As and a few Bs. She is such a great student! With the new boundaries for next school year, she will be starting at a new school for 7th grade...right down the street from the house. Morgan started swimming up for the summer. Had her first swim meet. She shaved a few seconds off all of her times from time trials in June. Way to go Morgan!

Bella, Bella, Bella....where do I begin, my little trouble maker. Bella will be 2 in a few weeks. Cannot believe it has already been two years! What a crazy two years. Bella continues to be a handful...but we love ever bit it! We are hoping that she will be done with the terrible twos soon, though.

Bella continues to amaze us with her language. She talks in complete sentences...most often grammatically correct. The other day, she said to me "I love Bella." I said "I love Bella." She replied "I love Mommy." Tell me my heart didnt sink! She has also started singing....too cute! Greg has a video on his phone that I will post soon. Absolutely adorable. Bella loves the pool....she loves to float on her tube and pour water from cups.

So far this summer, we have hung out at the pool, gone strawberry picking, blueberry picking, and watched the 4th of July fireworks. We are planning lots of other fun, local things to do this summer...and even squeezing in a trip to NJ...

Been too long!

Can't believe that summer time is nearing. The girls will be done school/daycare in a few weeks and then the fun will begin.

Family news: we have a new niece. Melissa and Chris had their baby...Adeline Claire. We traveled to Roanoke, Va over Memorial Day weekend to meet our little Addie. We spent some time with Melissa, her kids, and Deanna and her girls. We had a really nice time loving on all of those kiddos....especially baby Addie. What a cutie pie!

Morgan has done well during this last quarter of 6th grade. She will be in 7th grade next year. She is growing so fast! She will be moving to a new school since the county changed the boundaries for the school around the corner. It is a much smaller school but we will surely miss her current school. Morgan had her Spring Orchestra concert 2 weeks ago and played so nicely. There is a video here is her and her classmates playing Man in the Mirror. She is getting better and better on that violin! She plans to continue next year along with taking Spanish class.

Summer swim season just started this week. Morgan has been out of the pool since January but seems to have jumped right back in :)

Bella is growing so fast. I cannot believe that she will be 2 next month. It is crazy. She is crazy....hehe. Let's see. She talks up a storm.....in sentences. If she wants or needs something, she will let you know. She is still quite independent...."Bella do it" she always says. She went to the pool for the first time in a while yesterday and was beside herself. She wanted to play in the big pool and laughed hysterically...it will definitely be a fun summer with Bella at the pool.

Rain, rain...go away...

...you are making Bella cry. We had pretty severe weather tonight. Lots of rain, golf ball sized hail, lightening, and thunder. It woke Bella up and now she is terrified to go to sleep. She keeps saying "rain all done" and "light all done." I am not used to this since Morgan has always been such a HEAVY sleeper. Bella is the opposite...but to be expected since she is the opposite of Morgan in every other way!

This weekend, Bella started saying "I want ____" on her own, without cues! It is such an awesome thing to see the development of a toddler. I love watching and seeing what she will do or say next.

Morgan is doing great! She got 3 As and the 4 Bs on her latest report card. GO MORGAN!! She participated in her school's talent show. She played her violin to America the Beautiful.

Morgan has decided, with some encouragement from mom, to start an Etsy business. I thought it would be a fun way for her to learn about money. Here is her shop, if you want to go check it out. She is so excited about it.

Spring is here!!!

Spring is here and the McNab girls love the Spring time. Morgan loves being outside to watch nature and Bella loves being a dare devil on her scooter and bike. We go for walks in the evenings and go the park before dinner when the weather is warm. One thing my girls have in common is the love for the outdoors. Bella would stay outside ALL OF THE TIME if she could!

So...catch up time. We made a last minute trip to Virginia to spend time with my sister-in-law and her family. It was our first trip to their new house in Virginia. We had a really nice but short weekend. we went over Easter weekend so we had to tell the Easter bunny we werent going to be home. Morgan had fun playing with Gigi while Bella loved her Erin and Natie bug...Erin calls Bella "Fellas." Too cute!

Unfortunately, a few days after we returned from Virginia, Grandmom Park passed away. It was sudden and very sad. We went to Pennsylvania for family time with Greg's family and Grandmom's funeral. It was nice to see family, but hopefully next time under better circumstances.



MORGAN
Morgan continues with violin and is doing great! She got her 3rd quarter report card and got 3 As and 4 Bs. We are so proud of her! She is growing up so fast!

BELLA
Bella continues to keep us busy. She is very independent and knows what she wants. She speaks in short sentences. It is amazing to watch her grow and change before our eyes.

Bella did it again!

Bella pee peed in the potty again. Last night she asked to sit on the potty. She sat and sat, got up, sat then pee peed!! Wooohoo!

Bella is sick, again :( This time, she has a fever and is miserable. Trying to get her t drink has been so difficult so she has been eating popcicles. She asks for them....too cute. Here is a picture.

While wandering around the kitchen today, Bella grabbed the big bag of pretzels off of the island and dumped it all over the floor. "uh-oh." Morgan helped me vacuum it up and so did Bella....here are pics.
